Rest in Peace, National Reconciliation Ordinance

Last night at about 5 passed 10, someone passed away that someone was only 2 years and 2 months old at that time. Despite the fact having a very short life in terms of days and time but he spent a full life; he was famous and known to many people around even before the birth. However last night that someone passed away. He was a hope and strength for many, just like a blue eyed boy but alas he passed away last night. That moment was just like a night mare when the sad news about its death came out. Nevertheless I am happy with what happened to it.
I am talking about nothing else but the great NRO which kept many of us thinking for a period of more than 2 years. It was NRO which created a sense among the people to have separate rule of law for separate class in the country. Confusion and corruption these were the two major outcomes of this NRO. Now NRO is dead and have been declared null and void by the supreme court of Pakistan. This all happened on 16th December, it was the same day 38 years back when Pakistan lost one wing of It's but today in 2009 we are moving to a new era, an era of accountability, an era where corrupted person has to be answerable. Yesterday some major names were also called in the court to face the questions of the judiciary which was a remarkable achievement of the current supreme court, since the beginning such government figures and so called government figures used to be considered above the law, and it was out of question for them to face the situation which they had to face faced yesterday.
With the announcement of court decision over eight thousand cases have been reopened. Many perda-nasheens and many big names have to defend their cases now. I just pray that the hope which has emerged after this decision, come true and all the wealth which these leeches sucked from the veins of my land. It might be early to say what our beloved president going to do and what will his fate be in the future, but it is true that he has to harvest the croup which he sow with the seed of promise breaking.
As far as his immunity is concerned which he is enjoying, being the President of Pakistan, it is also in danger; because with this court decision all the cases against him in Swiss courts are going to be opened again which make him in a position which make him against the clause of constitution which demands the president of the state to be honest. If my memory is supporting me I can remember that once he was declared mentally unfit which became once of the reason for him to pass out The University of Kot Lakhpat Jail. That might be a conspiracy theory against him but what will he and his team will do with the upcoming invade of cases in Swiss courts.
The time when we all were waiting for results, some disturbing things also took place as the news of firing at different places in the country came out, many shops and markets were forced to close, and many people were claiming it as a judicial attack on the position of the President; most of them were more concerned about the fact of Sindhi President rather than President of Pakistan. I have no idea for how long we have to fight over the issue of racism and belongingness to a certain province. Each and every one must be equal in the line of law, and I just hope this decision over NRO which is going to be a great step against corruption do not end as a shot against a specific party or person, every institution and every individual must be answerable and there must be a clear policy for accountability which is equal to all.
At the end I want you all to pray for the “late” NRO, as it is very hard for him to rest in peace. Because he did uncountable bad things in a very short life.
